■ Position Background
· This position will be based in Jiangsu Province and directly report to the CEO of the Company. The compensation package offered by our customer for this position is very competitive and also can be negotiable. The Base Pay offer for this position is more than RMB50K per month.
· This position will manage and facilitate Human Resources and Administration Policies, Procedures and Processes, including Recruitment, Training, Development, Compensation and Benefits, Industrial Safety & Security, Aspects in Canteen and Dormitory, Cleaning, etc. Ensure all activities are in Compliance with Legal regulations and requirements, as well as kept alignment with Corporate HR Strategy.
■ Customer Background
· Our customer is a large-sized PV manufacturing company who is being traded on overseas capital market now. Both the factories and the head office of our customer are located in Jiangsu Province and east China area and overseas business offices are located global wide.
■ Job Responsibilities
· Manage the process of sourcing, interviewing and selecting suitably qualified candidates to fill in the open positions within the organization. In doing this, ensure that the candidates have the potential to grow and contribute to the future needs of the company’s business.
· Ensure the compensation packages are competitive to attract and retain staff. Apply the guidelines designed by Corporate HR and Management Team for reward system, understanding how jobs are valued and using market pricing and planning to manage pay for performance, internal equity and motivating employees.
· Manage the process of employee counseling, performance management, business integrity issues and the separation of individuals from the company.
· Provide leadership in driving critical HR Programs and Projects initiated by Corporate HR and Management Team, especially in building up quality resources of the organization and a high performance culture.
· Drive training and development activities that ensure the company retain and develop employees to the mutual benefits of both the individual and the company and establish a learning organization for the company.
· Develop, recommend and implement HR Policies and Practices and focus efforts toward the achievement of company goals and objectives.
· Work closely with the Corporate Management Team and functions/divisions to support the Corporate business growth and quick expansion.
· Oversee the maintenance of all personnel records and files to ensure confidentiality and compliance with applicable laws and also up to the standard desired by the Corporate Board and Management Team.
· Manage and implement administration policies and procedures including Industrial Safety, Security, Transportation, Canteen, Clean, general affairs regarding public relationship and so on.
· Collect employees’ complaints and suggestions and work with Management Team to resolve.
· Managing the Corporate HR team and guiding the site HR functions.
■ Person Specifications
· A recognized degree, MBA preferred;
· More than 10 years relevant experience in MNCs with good knowledge of the PRC labor laws and European/USA Labor regulations;
· Good level written and spoken English;
· Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills and able to work effectively;
· A Self Starter and Driver with a ‘hand-on’ approach and be eager to drive key initiatives and see them through to successful implementation.
· Experience of leading organization changes and excellent team work spirit.
· Good commercial sense and operation sense.
· Can stand at corporate level and business/operation side to deal with HR related issues.
■ Impact of the Position
· Establish an environment that will help to attract & retain employees. This has significant impact on the company’s image which will provide the pull factor for outstanding candidates. Partnering with the floor managers and site operations managers to retain low turnover has direct impact on cost saving, employee morale, company belief and culture. ■ Internal Relationship
· Active interaction with other functional heads and site heads within the organization and site HR team to address Human Resource & Administration related issues.
· Gain credibility by being a pro-active business partner.
■ External Relationship
· Regular interactions with HR, Employment and Public Relationship regulatory bodies, HR Consultants, Suppliers for Safety & Security and Clean and Food, as well as other HR&A heads within Chart worldwide.
Interactions with government authorities on employment, social benefits or income tax matters.
