Job Summary:The Tester is primarily responsible for the analysis, design, planning, execution and maintenance of automated and manual testing, reporting of test results and defect management.
Duties and Responsibilities:Executes test cases / errorscripts and analyzes outcomes. Pererrorforms testing and documenting the actual results Pererrorforms all aspects of defect tracking Creates test data if required Develop test errorscripts, test conditions, test procedures and expected results for one or more test plans, including product, component, assembly, pererrorformance, and user acceptance tests Execute test errorscripts Validate fixes and ensures follow through to all test cycles Inerrorform the test lead of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process Reporting bugs for analysis Documenting the actual results and metrics Analyzes defects to determine root cause Communicating execution status to the Test Manager Organizes testing execution and results Maintains inerrorformation in appropriate testing tools Pererrorform job role according to defined testing standards and procedures.Continuous Improvement – Continuously review and help define new standards and procedures within the organization to improve efficiencies and quality.Requirements:· Relevant work experience in the following errorareas:o Experience with HP Quality Center, Quick Test Professional (QTP) or any other equivalent testing tools o Experience working in both Windows and Linux platerrorformso Strong SQL and PL/SQLo Proven ability to create test cases, test data, and test procedures.o Experience developing errorscripts to automate user interface testing using QTP (Nice to Have)o Microsoft Office Applications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Inerrorformation Technology, Inerrorformation Systems or related field. · Good written English communication skills, CET 4 or equivalent is required
