职责:
(1)Lead projects: Lead improvement projects within the value center and effectively coordinate these projects with the value center champion and other improvement project teams. Project leadership includes identifying opportunities, defining and financially justifying projects, launching project teams, using good project management to manage team activities, leading teams to execute projects with the problem solving methodology, tracking project status and results, removing and elevating project barriers, and developing team members.It is also critical to identify integration issues with other projects/processes and coordinate the improvements with the appropriate project/process owners to accomplish the project goals.
(2)Measure results: Manage the development and maintenance of methods and systems for measuring the degree to which the project goals, objectives and metrics are being met.Provide value center champion with the results and recommend appropriate corrective action.
(3)Recruit and train team members: Identify potential black belts and recruit team members into the Value Based Six Sigma infrastructure. Provide training and coaching to team members to spread the base of Six Sigma Problem Solving tools and increase their effectiveness to function as a team.
(4)Integrate improvement projects: Ensure projects are integrated with other business activities, improvement projects and business strategy.
(5)Communication: Ensure 2-way open communication throughout the organization for VBSS. This includes keeping the value center champion informed of program status and ensuring coordination of activities with other black belts. Also, this includes capturing project case histories that can be re-used for other projects and submit in a Best Practices format when appropriate.
(6)Provide quantitative data indicating the scope of the operation including: Current year and forecast sales, net income, total assets controlled, number of personnel, operating budget and any other quantitative factors which would describe the scope of the operation.
(7)Scope will be determined on a project by project basis
要求:
(1)Bachelors Degree preferably in Engineering or Business, or equivalent work experience.3 years of professional level experience in leading improvement teams. Prior supervisory experience is a plus. Should have solid project management skills and leadership skills.
(2)Should have knowledge of other functions that provide inputs regularly, i.e., Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Finance, Human Resources, and Operations. Must have the ability to learn and perform statistical analysis.
(3)Ability to lead and direct an improvement team. Must be a results orientated “change agent” who is an effective business systems thinker.
(4)Effectively communicate with all levels to maintain relationships and cooperation in pursuing the value center’s goals. Must be able to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts to reach consensus around common goals.
(5)Understand statistical analysis tools/methodology, strong PC operation and software skills(including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), project management, continuous improvement, quality and basic financial principles and apply them to analyze the planned activities.
(6)Team leadership and inflexibility to changes due to both internal and external pressures.
(7)Ability to make decisions in an appropriate and timely manner.
(8)Ability to apply the problem solving methodology.
(9)The candidate for this position must be pro-active, analytical, process driven, with a strong focus on understanding and exceeding the expectations of the customer.
