Main Responsibility:
Create and own new product definitions and program plans, including program schedule, staffing and budget.
Train, motivate and direct staff as required to execute program plans and follow
Manage external resources required to successfully launch product into manufacturing and into market.
Initiate all program, design, cost, DFA/DFM, etc. reviews.
Participates in team member performance appraisals.
Participates in new team hires.
Obtains resources from program sponsor.
Responsible for hitting startup quality goals.
Job Requirement:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent, advanced degree preferred
5years experience in the consumer electronics or electrical appliance industry designing electrical end user products, especially UPSs;
3+ years experience in program management of electrical end user products, especially UPSs;
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :
Excellent leadership, communications, listening, conflict management and interpersonal skills
Good analytical problem solving and organizational skills
Excellent decision-making and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
PC software proficiency (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint)
Work with minimal supervision.
